Bromley Y 2020-2021 AGM

November 2021

Our Annual General Meeting was held virtually, on 18th November 2021 and attended by 60 people including staff, volunteers, Trustees, Commissioners and other services. It has been a transformative year.

Since our launch of the new Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing service in April we have seen an unprecedented demand for our service during the first quarter of 2021-2022, with an increase in referrals of approx. 74% on the previous year, which is very likely due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a 35% increase on 2019/20

We are delighted to say that our well-established community mentoring service at Bromley Y is now working with selected schools to help young people who need slightly longer-term support with a trusted adult.

Lumi Nova

May 2021

We are pleased that Bromley Y is now able to offer Lumi Nova - a therapeutic interactive online game aimed at 7-12 year olds experiencing anxiety.

Lumi Nova helps a family to work at its own pace to tackle anxiety and check in with a practitioner to help keep on track.

If you don’t have access to Lumi Nova yet, but want access to it then contact your young person’s school, GP or the local services.

The Signpost

May 2021

Our new text chat support service is now available to young people of 11 years and over. Young people are able to text our service about their concerns and our friendly practitioners will respond.
