Our Expertise Merged with Expertise

Bromley Y practitioners have a wide range of qualifications, expertise and skills and can provide support to children and young people in a range of ways. From providing advice and guidance through workshops and groups, enabling individuals to find other services which may provide more appropriate support and offering one-to-one interventions, tailored to the needs of the child.

We can support children and young people with difficulties such as:

Anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation and behavioural difficulties, phobias, panic, separation difficulties, trauma, relationship problems at home and at school, bullying, exam stress and transitions both within education or, to adult services (over 18 years). Bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, family conflict, issues around sexuality, gender concerns, drug and alcohol abuse and family difficulties. We also work with individuals where adjustments have been needed such as the Covid pandemic and other adverse childhood experiences. We also support children and young people who have social communication difficulties and those with learning disabilities with or without diagnosis.

We work in partnership with other organisations such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Social Care, the Youth Offending Service, Leaving Care teams and other community-based organisations to ensure individuals and their families receive the support they need.

Our staff build on their qualifications and expertise through continuous professional development and clear practice supervision processes to offer the highest quality of service to children, young people, and their families; to meet their needs.
