đź‘Ź We recently celebrated with our Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC) Parent Group Leaders acknowledging their achievements and highlighting the invaluable work they do in empowering parents. Well done to them all! đź‘Ź
They completed 12 weeks of training to qualify as facilitators of the Being a Parent programme, which they now deliver to parents across the London Borough of Bromley.
Sharing their positive experiences of delivering the programme they reflected on their journey from training through to delivery and the impact this has had on both themselves and the families they support.
They were able to offer feedback on how the Being a Parent programmes and facilitator training could be further enhanced. They also engaged in discussion about their ongoing professional development, identifying areas in which they would like to further develop their skills and knowledge.
Overall, it was a lovely day of celebration, reflection, and forward-looking enthusiasm as we continue to develop and strengthen EPEC at Bromley Y.
